ioClock and ioClockWS can only be installed on one single location (referred to hereafter as the "server") simply because these applications automatically create all the data files used by them.

Therefore when any additional installations are done, each installation will have its own set of files and the data cnnot be merged or consolidated.

Both systems are however network ready and fully multi-user and can be accessed simultaneously from multiple computers on the same network.

Use Windows Explorer and select the directory where ioClock is installed on the server, then ensure that this directory is set as "shared" with access status allowed set as "read/write/deny none".

Next map this server directory from each of the user PCs with the desktop or taskbar icon properties set to open the applications in the mapped drive.

(If used on the server only, no sharing or mapping is required - however usually the admin/management functions are done on the server and the clocking in and out is done on a remote PC - in this case sharing is still required.)

This will ensure that all the users will be accessing and updaring the same data files on the server.
