What's new
Version 11 includes some major revisions and two new modules.
Overtime
The overtime module has been upgraded significantly allowing for far more flexibility.
In the previous versions overtime could only be approved for hours worked commencing directly after the end time of a normal work day or for time to be worked on a non-work day (weekends, public holidays or days set as where the workplace is "closed".
LATEST UPDATE: A visual display of approved overtime is available on the new Overtime Schedule
Leave Module
A comprehensive leave module which calculates, accrues, records and permits approval of leave which is then recorded onthe daily clocking records.
LATEST UPDATE: A visual display of approved leave is available on the new Leave Schedule
Employee Non-Standard Work Profiles - Flexi-Time, Shift Workers and Part Time Workers
Permits the setting up of non-standard profiles for shift work, half day work or part time (specific days worked in a week) with complete flexibility in terms of days, starting and ending times as well as tea and lunch breaks.
Employee number profile
Based on feedback received from potential clients we have added a feature to the setup whereby employers can select an employee payroll number profile and choose a numbering style to match their preference. For more details see the section Staff number profiles.
Help File
Previously information about the system and how to use it was provided in the form of PDF files.
With the new features comes an added level of complexity and we therefore decided to provide a comprehensive Help file in both CHM and HTML format.
These files make accessing information much easier by permitting switching back and forth between topics simply by clicking on topics or embedded links.
Built-in Internet Browser
The structure and composition of the installation download file has been changed as the built-in browser function is a very large installation and may not be required by all the users.
The installation file has therefore been split up into two files - ioClock and all it's required files and ioExplorer being the Web Browser files.
Users are free to download and add the browser function whenever they would like to add this functionality.
