From the "System Defaults Menu" select "Clocking Defaults"

The following screen will appear

  • Select the number of days worked per week (5 or 6)
  • If any day has a different start or end time set this up as a "Special" day
  • Enter the tea and lunch breaks
  • ioClock will then calculate the actual hours worked in a week.

The stand alone clocking application (ioClockWS) cannot be closed without entering a password (this is to prevent staff from accidently closing the application) and as such a password can be set to exit the application. The default password is "exitme" - all lower case

The system will clear (delete) records older than the number of months selected in the "Keep Records" field.  Change these to longer or shorter periods as required.

"Show all days on clocking report" can be ticked if you wish the clocking report to display weekend, public holidays and closed days.

Should you wish to expand the basic functions of ioClock you can select additional options as shown in the Defaults Options section.

IMPORTANT:  Ensure that these defaults are set BEFORE attempting to set up the Financial Calendar files.
